In the heat of battle, in the throws of insanity a man finds himself against all odds. How did he ever find himself this way. The battle was to be won and yet he stood with sword in hand and the blade a crimson slick of blood. Fearing the truth he looked up and fearful eyes confirmed the truth. A gasp of horror, as the love of his life was run through by his hand.
"Darla."
Even now she found the strength to smile though blood now came from her mouth.
"I, i...thought..." he said
He tried pulling the sword from her body but she grabbed his wrist stopping him.
"I prayed that i could see you one last time before i would die."
"No, no...no not like this."
She fell against him, it was already to late for her in his arms she summond the last of her strength and took her final breaths into his ear.
"Remember Marcus, remember me as i was then and not the person i am now."

a man died today, they beat him, they scorned him, and forced upon him the burdens of us all, every last hateful thing we have done or will do, and still they beat him, i saw him fall once, as if i had not done the same thing many times, yet het got back up, i saw him fall a second time, and they scorned him but he said nothing but continued onward to victory, and he fell a third time and they had enough, knowing what not they did, he wanted to forgive them, a man walked up the hill and died today, each of his foot steps echoing into time and soul and heart, and on that day victory was claimed

Freedom!!!! this music sounds like that situation where the hero is compleatly boned because they are out numbered like 30 to 1 and all the hero can do is feel sorry for them

amazing

The glory of God, simple awe inspiring, like a shadow fire an unseen thing that consumes, with out understanding........but the second half although masterfuly done seems out of place for the climatic build, not that its a complaint, its still a ten song no matter how i slice it

I wouldn't disagree. The later half, though decently built, does not flow too strongly with the rest of the song. Normally the music I generate doesn't need to rely on visuals to make an impact, but that moment, with the pure silence. I NEEDED that to be like that. In my mental story an arrow hits a normal soldier, and everything just goes silence for a few seconds. Like the arrow cut him from his senses, destroying him one at a time.
